NU Projects is a design and build company in Fulham SW6, founded in 2010. We handle basement golf simulator rooms in South Kensington SW7, under one contract. A basement runs £450 to £780 a sq ft, construction only. Call 020 7731 6841, and a budget estimate typically follows within seven days.

Our South Kensington work began with an old block of flats. It became two family houses with leisure floors far below the street. A golf room belongs on a floor like that.

Today the borough allows one storey, not three. The SPD names a swimming pool for extra depth. It does not name a golf room. So golf height is won by digging the slab lower within that single storey.

A leisure floor mixes wet rooms and dry ones. Steam and pool air must never drift to the projector and screen. We separate the air handling. Plant sits in its own room, apart from the golf bay.

We built both houses here, from the dig to the fit-out. Their lower floor has a pool and a steam room. There is no golf room among them. One team could design, price and build one on that floor.

Plant
Pool or steam plant is kept apart from the screen.
