Fitted wardrobes and dressing rooms are drawn by us, then made by Cochrane Bespoke. We are NU Projects, design and build in Fulham SW6 since 2010. Each piece is priced from the drawings by our own quantity surveyor. Call 020 7731 6841, and a budget estimate typically follows within seven days.
A fitted wardrobe is drawn around the room, never bought to a size. Alcoves, eaves and sloping ceilings are used, not lost.
Every front, rail, drawer and shelf is drawn to scale. You approve the drawings beside real samples, not a render.
Lighting, sockets and ventilation are planned behind the doors, early. That keeps the electrician and the joiner in step.
Cochrane Bespoke, our joinery partner, makes and installs each piece. Final sizes are taken on site, against the finished walls.
A wardrobe can sit inside a wider renovation, or be commissioned alone. Cochrane Bespoke made the new wardrobes in our listed Marylebone apartment.

We design them early enough to coordinate sockets, lighting, ventilation, skirtings and doors.
We leave final fabrication dimensions to our measured site-check process.

Why does bespoke joinery have a long lead time?
Design development, samples, approvals, materials, fabrication and finishing all take time.
Site measurement and installation readiness can affect the sequence as much as workshop capacity.
Can lighting and smart controls be hidden within cabinetry?
Yes, when we properly plan heat, wiring, drivers and service access.
Concealed equipment still needs a practical route for replacement.
How much do fitted wardrobes cost in London?

Size, finish, interior fittings and lighting all move the price.
We do not publish a rate, because no two rooms are the same.
What is the difference between a fitted and a walk-in wardrobe?
A fitted wardrobe lines a wall of a room.
A walk-in wardrobe is a room of its own. It often has an island and a dressing table.
Can you fit wardrobes under the eaves or into alcoves?
Yes. Eaves wardrobes and alcove cupboards are drawn to the slope and the recess.
