What we coverSix systems
Six systems, one team.
01Heating and hot water
Boilers, heat pumps, underfloor heating and emitters, sized for the house. We assess floor buildup, heat output and control zones first. Simultaneous demand across several bathrooms is calculated, not guessed.
02Electrical
Power, lighting circuits, distribution and testing, by NICEIC approved engineers. We check existing capacity against the loads you are adding. Solar, battery storage and car charging are reviewed on site.
03Plumbing and drainage
Incoming supply, storage, hot water, waste and drainage, coordinated with the structure. Gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. Routes are planned before floors and ceilings close.
04Ventilation and cooling
Ventilation moves air, cooling removes heat. A comfortable home needs both, especially after insulation work. Concealed units need ceiling or joinery space, duct routes and maintenance access.
05Lighting and controls
Lighting, heating, blinds, audio visual and network, on controls you will actually use. We agree the functions early, then wire for them before first fix. Handover includes training on the system.
06Aftercare
NU MEP covers planned maintenance, diagnostics and reactive repairs. Testing, commissioning and upgrades sit in the same team. Electrical testing, EICR support, certification and gas servicing are all handled.

Every one of these is designed in house, then installed by our own engineers. One team holds the drawings, the plant and the certificates.
Services are designed before ceilings, floors, cabinetry and layouts are fixed. Early decisions on routes and plant protect space and finishes.
Coordinate early
We resolve structure and services with the engineers, before anyone is on site. Plant and distribution space is reserved during concept design.
Test and commission
Testing and commissioning sit in the scope, with records and a demonstration. Installed equipment is not the same as a commissioned system.

Who runs it

Wayne has over two decades in construction. He started with an apprenticeship in plumbing and heating. He then built his knowledge across the whole mechanical and electrical field.
That route from the tools upward shapes how he runs projects. He understands how services are designed, coordinated and installed. Clients get clear, dependable guidance rather than jargon.

What does MEP mean?
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing. It is the heating, hot water, ventilation, cooling, power, controls and drainage.
These systems need space and coordination inside the architecture. We design them in house, alongside the drawings.
When should the services be designed?
Before ceilings, floors, cabinetry and key layouts are fixed.
Deciding routes and plant early avoids losing space or cutting into finished work later. We reserve that space during concept design.
How do I know the systems work properly at handover?
Testing and commissioning are written into the scope from the start.
You get the commissioning records, a room by room demonstration and training. Installed equipment is not the same as a balanced system.
Does NU MEP handle repairs and servicing as well as projects?
Yes. NU MEP covers planned maintenance, diagnostics, reactive repairs, testing, commissioning and upgrades.
