Four houses, one specification.
Four architect designed houses, built around a courtyard.
NU Projects built them as a joint venture.
The specification had to stay consistent across all four.
Four front doors, one contract, one standard of finish.
ii The build
A basement under every house.
All four houses have a basement.
One design and build contract covered the whole scheme.
Structural works, interiors and the fit-out sat inside it.
They were built from 2016 to 2018, over about 100 weeks on site.
iii The finished houses
Brick, timber and stone.
Kitchens with long stone topped islands.
A glass rooflight set into the courtyard paving.
