Quantity surveying, explained.
Matt Coverley is our quantity surveyor. He works in house, not as a subcontractor. He measures, prices and controls cost on every project.
We price twice. A budget estimate comes first, usually within seven days. A detailed cost plan follows, built line by line from the drawings. Provisional sums are named, never buried.
That second price is the one you hold when you sign. Valuations, variations and payment certificates follow, from the same team, through the build.
