Architecture · Drawn in house

Architecture in London.

Feasibility to construction drawings, made by the team that also builds.

01What it covers

Architecture, explained.

NU Projects designs prime London homes, then builds them. Drawings are made by a team that knows what they cost. That closes the gap between a design and a price.

We take a home from first concept to construction drawings. Planning and building control run alongside the design. Structural engineers and specialist consultants are coordinated by us, not by you.

A feasibility study tests whether the brief, the property and the budget fit together. Planning drawings explain the scheme, for assessment. Construction drawings carry the detail that lets it be priced and built.

QuestionsArchitecture, answered

What people ask about architecture.

What does a feasibility study tell me?

It tests whether your brief, property, likely approvals, budget and programme fit together.

We compare options and identify any missing surveys, before developing your preferred scheme.

What is the difference between planning drawings and construction drawings?

Planning drawings explain the proposed development, for assessment.

Construction information needs more coordination and detail, covering structure, services, materials and junctions. This is what lets the work be priced and built.

Do I need planning permission for my project?

It depends on your property, the proposed work and any planning restrictions in place.

Some schemes qualify as permitted development. We always check eligibility against your actual building before relying on that route.

How long will planning permission take?

Allow time for surveys, design and validation before the council’s assessment period begins.

Requests for information, consultation and revisions can extend the timeline. Do not treat an indicative decision date as a guaranteed site start.

Can we start as soon as planning permission is granted?

Not necessarily. Read the decision notice carefully for any conditions attached.

Check the other approvals and agreements the works need. Design, technical and contractual readiness are separate questions.
