Primrose Hill is a village of smaller Victorian terraces, facing the park. Fronts are painted, and front gardens are short. Many houses are now flats.

Here the front is the part most guarded. A 1983 Article 4 direction controls front alterations on the houses Camden lists.

It reaches front walls, hard standings and painting brickwork seen from the street. A small change can need planning.
