A whole house is the exception here. So most of our work is inside one flat. A boiler swap, a rewire, a new bathroom, or all three.

Bathrooms move the hardest. Waste needs a fall to the stack, and the stack rarely moves. We plan layouts around it, and use a pump only as a last resort.

Roof lines are mostly unbroken, and Westminster refuses roof additions on such terraces. That makes visible rooftop plant a hard case too. Comfort cooling is usually kept inside, with outlets placed discreetly.
