NU Projects is a design and build company in Fulham SW6, founded in 2010. We handle mechanical, electrical and plumbing in Cobham KT11, under one contract. Cobham families often ask for leisure rooms below the house. A pool, a gym or a cinema each brings its own machinery. That machinery needs a dry, ventilated room with service access.

Green Belt land surrounds the town. A basement there must stay wholly underground, inside the house footprint. So the plant room is drawn within that outline from day one.

Pool water needs heating and filtration, and the hall needs dehumidification. A cinema’s projector and amplifiers sit apart, with their own cooling and cable routes. Gyms need fresh air and quiet extract.

Above ground, Class G permits two heat pump units on a detached house. At Plough Corner and The Tilt, both conservation areas, units must not face roads. Screens around a unit are checked against Cobham’s Article 4 directions.
