A detached house may carry two heat pump units under Class G. Each outdoor unit is capped at 1.5 cubic metres. Inside a conservation area, units may not face a road.

The plan says chimneystacks that add to the street should be kept. That can suit a lined boiler flue or an extract route. We survey before we commit.

Bigger houses mean longer pipe runs and more circuits. We zone heating floor by floor, with controls the family will use.
