A Pimlico cinema is a sealed snug in the lower ground floor. In a building of flats, quiet comes first.

NU Projects is a design and build company in Fulham SW6, founded in 2010. We handle basement cinema rooms in Pimlico SW1V, under one contract. A new basement dig typically runs £500k to £900k. Converting an existing basement runs £180k to £300k. Call 020 7731 6841, and a budget estimate typically follows within seven days.
Most Pimlico stucco houses are flats now. A cinema in the lower ground flat has neighbours overhead. So the room is a box within the old structure, sealed and lined.
A converted vault can take the projector and rack, away from the seats. Its fans then stay out of the room. The cinema itself keeps to the lower ground floor.
Lowering that floor can add a little height for stepped seats. It needs planning, under a citywide direction from July 2016. The freeholder’s consent comes first, under the lease.
Just north, in Belgravia, our apartment cinema has a deep corner sofa. Under Fulham houses we built a tall lower floor sitting room. One team designs, prices and builds yours.
