Most Notting Hill terraces run four floors over a lower ground floor. They are tall, narrow and painted.

That shape sets the joinery. Long pieces cannot turn a tight landing, so Cochrane Bespoke makes them in sections.

Alcoves beside the chimney breast take shelving or cupboards. Upper bedrooms take wardrobes drawn right to the ceiling.

Many houses are now flats. Policy HO1 stops flats being merged back. Storage has to work within each one.
