Why the MEP matters as much as the finish
On a high-specification London property, mechanical and electrical work decides how the house behaves. This is true of a full refurbishment, a new build or a major renovation. Bad MEP work is invisible until it fails. By then it is behind the plaster and under the floor. So putting it right costs several times what doing it properly would have cost.
