Design
The design is the first step and the one everything else rests on. Think of a kitchen, an extension or a whole extra floor. Our architectural designers and interior designers work with you on the layout. This happens before anything is priced. Drawings and visualisations let you see the finished plan rather than imagine it.
Building, with a feel for the area
Clapham is mostly Victorian and Edwardian terraces and semis. It has the usual west and south London pattern. That means side returns, closet wings and loft space. Knowing the stock tells you which of the three obvious projects is worth doing. That depends on your particular house. From groundworks to final finishes, our own site team carries out the work.
Renovations and extensions
If you like where you live and need more room, an extension is usual. We handle the planning application, the design, the construction and the decoration. Building more sustainably
A renovation is the cheapest opportunity to improve the fabric of a period house. Start with insulation where you are replastering anyway. Then do airtightness and glazing. Then the heating and controls, in that order. Better fabric lowers what the house costs to run. It does so for as long as you own it.
