Furniture and accessories are the last thing specified on an interior and the first thing anybody notices. One of the suppliers we buy from is Coach House.
Coach House has been importing and selling design-led furniture and homewares in the UK for over forty years. It started in Yorkshire and is still family run, which shows up in the consistency of what arrives rather than in the marketing.
The range is broad: traditional and contemporary furniture, lighting, accessories, artificial florals, Indian antiques and seasonal pieces. That breadth matters to us because a single supplier across a whole house means one set of lead times and one point of contact when something is late or damaged.
On our side, our interior designer takes the scheme, selects the pieces against it and manages the ordering. The point is not that we can buy furniture. It is that the furniture is chosen alongside the joinery, the lighting and the finishes rather than after them, so the room reads as one decision.
