The suppliers a contractor uses decide more about the finished house than clients realise. At NU Projects we choose them on lead time and consistency. We also ask whether they stand behind a defect. We do not choose them on the showroom. One we specify from regularly is Andrew Martin.
Martin Waller founded the brand in 1978. It specialises in creating unique and eclectic interior design products and furnishings. The company is known for its distinctive blend of classic and contemporary styles. It often incorporates a global and well-travelled aesthetic.
Andrew Martin offers a range of products. These include furniture, lighting, textiles, wallpapers, home accessories, and more. Their offerings cater to individuals and businesses. These seek to create distinctive and personalised interior spaces. The range mixes design elements, cultures and historical periods. This gives a room character without needing a single strong theme.
On a current Chelsea house we use indoor and outdoor fabrics from their range. Specifying one supplier across both has an effect. The terrace and the room it opens off read as one scheme. It also means one lead time rather than two.
Our joinery partner is Cochrane Bespoke, who make the cabinetry on our projects.
