In August 2024, NU Projects and AVC announced a partnership on smart home technology in West London. It put NU’s design and build service alongside AVC’s control systems, so the technology was planned into the house rather than added afterwards.
Design and technology together
The point of the arrangement was not the technology itself. It was that the controls and the cable routes were designed with the rooms, so nothing had to be chased in later. AVC’s smart home systems offered a fluid interface, so homeowners could control lighting, security and entertainment from one touch.
Built around how the house is used
Each system was set up for the household rather than from a standard template, from room settings to the control interfaces.
