I have started a YouTube channel about being an entrepreneur, and about the trials of thirty years in business.

On basements in London

South Kensington, Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Belgravia are short of space above ground. For many owners the only practical way to add a floor is to dig one.

NU Projects has built basements across these districts since 2010. Knowing the ground and the borough routes is most of what shortens a programme here.

A basement is a cost effective way to add area. A bedroom, a gym, a wine cellar or storage, and the floor area is added without touching the elevation. See basement construction for the full scope.
