Holland Park is stucco fronted houses, garden squares and lateral flats, and almost none of it can be altered without thought. A refurbishment here is a design job before it is a building job. NU Projects works on houses like these from the first concept through to the finished interior, under one contract.
Here is what the service covers.
- Architecture. Kitchen extensions, loft conversions and basements. Feasibility studies, planning applications, and the detailed drawings that kitchens, bathrooms and joinery packages are built from.
- Interior design. Concept presentations, colour schemes, floor plans, and furniture and joinery drawn for the room. The interior team sits alongside the people pricing and building it.
- Bespoke joinery. Kitchens, wardrobes, libraries and furniture made by Cochrane Bespoke, our joinery partner, classical or contemporary, drawn to the measured sizes of the room.
- Project management. One named project manager from the first meeting to handover, reporting on cost and programme while the work is running.
- Renovations. Whole house work, where the layouts, the services, the storage and the finishes are resolved together rather than room by room.
- Extensions. Rear, side return and wraparound, from the planning application through to construction.
- Basements. Construction and conversion, from feasibility and planning through structure and waterproofing to the fit out.
A turnkey appointment means one point of contact for the whole job. Building control, the structural engineer and the party wall surveyors are appointed and coordinated by us rather than by you.
