From basement to superstructure
The work does not stop when the basement is finished. The same contractor carries on up into the superstructure, so there is no handover point where one firm blames another for what it found. One contract, one programme, one set of people to ring.
What design and build covers here
From the first meeting through planning applications, construction, snagging and handover, it is one appointment. Our architectural designers, interior designers and quantity surveyor are in the studio. Structural engineers, building control and party wall surveyors are appointed and coordinated by us rather than by you.
What goes in a basement
A gym, a home office, a cinema room or simply more living space. What works depends on the plan above and on how much daylight can be brought down, which is why the layout is drawn before the price is fixed. Published rates for basement work are on our cost calculator.
