  1. Stage One: First Contact: Use the online form to book a consultation call. Contact details are provided for further inquiries.

  2. Stage Two: Free Consultation Consultation call with founder Nick Jeffries to discuss project aims, requirements, budgets, and timescales.

  3. Stage Three: Budget Estimate A call-out fee may be charged for a property visit to gather information for a budget build cost.

  4. Stage Four: 3D Measured Survey An architect visits the property to take measurements for accurate drawings of the proposed development.

  5. Stage Five: Proposed Design The RIBA-approved architect produces schematic drawings for approval and discussion of changes before planning submission.

  6. Stage Six: Planning Permission Submission of the planning application and negotiation with the local planning office. NU may bring in specialist consultants for listed or challenging properties.

  7. Stage Seven: Building Regulation Construction drawings are passed by building control. Work starts on the interior design, scope of works, and cost plan.

  8. Stage Eight: Structural Calculations A qualified structural engineer produces drawings outlining the project's construction scope.

  9. Stage Nine: Party Wall Agreements Securing party wall agreements for any structural alterations that tie into neighbouring properties.

  10. Stage Ten: Project Management & QS Detailed work on the cost plan, with NU managing processes and taking responsibility for health and safety CDM 2015.

  11. Stage Eleven: Construction of the loft conversion, home extension, basement, renovation, or new build by a team of builders, carpenters, and trades.

  12. Stage Twelve: Finishing Snagging specialists conduct walkarounds for final touches. A professional cleaning team prepares the property post-construction.
